EdlMax Overview

EdlMax is an edit data management application supporting the Edl (Edit Decision List), Omf  (Open Media Framework) and Ale (Avid Log Exchange) formats. It is a multi-document Windows application - Edls, Omfs, and Ales are independent "document types", and each is displayed in its own window view.

When the program starts, the menus and toolbar present File open and Options for EdlMax.

Click File or Options for more information:

With a file imported, the menus and toolbar will change to reflect the options and operations available to each document type.

• Edls are displayed in their current Edl format.

• Omfs are displayed in an Omf Tree View.

• Ales are displayed in their native ASCII format.

The trial version of EdlMax is limited to output approximately 10 events of Edl., Omf, or Ale data.
