Open File

To import an Edl, Omf, or Ale file:

1. From the File menu, click Open, or click the toolbar button.
   
   A Windows file Save As dialog appears

2. Navigate to the desired drive/folder and select a file with a .edl, .omf, or .ale extension.

3. Click Open to import the file.
    

   The file is opened and displayed in a window. The bottom left corner indicates the frame-rate of the Omf.

• Edls are displayed in their current Edl format.

• Omfs are displayed in an Omf Tree View.

• Ales are displayed in their native ASCII format.
